Dr. Leslie Innasimuthu

Dr. Leslie Innasimuthu is a distinguished Interventional Clinical Cardiologist specializing in Interventional Cardiology, Clinical Cardiology, Preventive Cardiology, Vascular Medicine, and Peripheral Interventions. He earned his medical degree from Kilpauk Medical College in Chennai, India, before advancing his training in the United Kingdom. There, he completed his Internal Medicine residency and earned the prestigious Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP-UK).

Following his achievements in the UK, Dr. Innasimuthu moved to the United States to further his medical education. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and a Clinical Cardiology Fellowship at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in New York. His Interventional Cardiology training took place at the world-renowned Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, where he gained expertise in Cardiac and Peripheral Vascular Interventions.

Dr. Innasimuthu’s training across three continents has equipped him with a comprehensive and unique approach to managing cardiovascular diseases. He holds multiple board certifications in Cardiovascular Disease, Interventional Cardiology, Endovascular Medicine, Internal Medicine, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, and Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI).

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Innasimuthu has presented his research at national and international cardiovascular conferences and has numerous publications in esteemed medical journals. He is an active member of the Royal College of Physicians, the American College of Cardiology, and the American College of Physicians. Dr. Innasimuthu is also a celebrated educator, having been honored with the Best Teacher Award for his dedication to mentoring and teaching the next generation of physicians and cardiologists.
